I've made it to about 200 so far, I'll read the rest later. Gotta rest my eyes! Wow, you are an awesome guy! Kudos to "The Unicycle Thief" and "The Other Bible", which is a very good book and the Bicycle Thief was a good movie too!
Wait! Woah, you mean you just made-up the title "The Other Bible"??? It is an actual book, that compiles the Gnostic Apocrypha, the Dead Sea Scrolls and some other texts that never made the final cut of the Bible. It's an amazing look into the times before Christianity, when Jewish mysticism ruled. There are also some strange alternative creation stories where Eve is created first! And don't miss the "Book of Thomas" which is an account of the discussion Jesus had with his disciples during the last supper (and there are women there too and they get to ask questions!). Also the "Secret Book of John" is a very good read. It tells how "Our Lord" is really the spoiled brat of the Mother Goddess, Sophia.
Woah, there really is one? I mean, I shouldn't be surprised. Yeah, I thought the title was a smidge obvious but since there wasn't already a movie by that name I went with it. That book sounds interesting but I can't use it, far too Dan Brown.

UGH! Don't mention that name! It burns us!!! I've read both of the books (Angela & Demons is actually the first book), plus one other that isn't part of the series (Deception Point), the books are fun, but they should not be confused with real religious texts!
The Other Bible is a real book that compiles together actual testaments from ancient sources. There aren't any treasure maps, secret codes or conspiracy theories. It's just a one-stop source for many of the more interesting books that were cut from the Bible.
I view it as a link to another form of mythology, of which I study. It's a wonderful story book filled with creative inspirations.
Don't get me wrong, it's interesting (it'd be far more interesting were I raised christian or born Jewish [some days I wish I had been]), I just can't see using it as the subject for a movie... unless it was like a revisionist take on John Huston's The Bible which I don't think I could do. To me the title The Other Bible most strongly suggests an occult thriller.

ohhh, I get your angle now. No no, it's just an interesting book that anyone from any religious background can appreciate. But I did not mean to propose that the book itself should be made into a movie; more so, I thought you might just like to read it sometime.
But I think you should keep the title on your list.
