Some judgements aren't sound. Another cardboard drawing finished this morning.

Very nice! Somewhat minimal, and gets a lot across with the bits highlighted in blue and white and certain subtleties with the quickly laid, darker brushstrokes.

Ah, much of the color is a sort natural side effect of the cardboard, the ink, and the white-out. I got very lucky.

Cool how things turn out.

Indeed! Something as simple as a medium can do wonders.

Lately I like working with pencil, then coloring it with watercolor, and inking it afterward. I don't have really good ink pens, just regular ballpoint and "pilot g-2 07" pens, but it helps the watercolor stand out more.

That seems like a good method. I use the pilot G2 0.38 ones  let's me get in tons of detail :D

I find the pens around the house. They're what my mom buys. Last pen I used I found in a parking lot, the outside all covered in what looks like dent marks or like maybe it had been run over. Works very well, though, and has a very fine tip.

I did that for a long time when I lived with parents, then I started to develop pen preferences. First it was Pentels, then Sharpies, and now Pilots :D
