Panzram

Carl Panzram (1891-1930), American murderer and thief who claimed to have murdered 22 people and to have raped a thousand men. He gave a lengthy written confession to his prison guard, and only friend, Henry Lesser. He's considered to be the product of the barbaric correctional systems in place at the start of the the 20th century.
