"Paternal" smacks of sheer terror. This is not an overstatement, just an honest observation. This vestal, visceral image haunts me. I mean, who hasn't looked into a mirror and contemplated our own humanity? I certainly have. It's as if this character in the image, is looking into a mirror while we get to stare back. The metronome ticking by at a slow pace reminds him that time is running out. Maybe soon, if he doesn't change his ways, this form, this monstrosity will consume him. His humanity is at stake... But, There is a light switch. I like that. To me, it shows hope. that maybe, all he has to do is switch on the light... switch it on... switch it on. Deep stuff. Don't stop creating, Leo. A moment in realization, perhaps that flicker-stutter when a cold fluorescent is first switched on, a tick-tick of obscene truism. Brilliant, my friend.
I certainly have.
