Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactIt's a very strong, striking image with the bright reds capturing the eye of the viewer very quickly and holding the viewer's attention. Part of this is rooted in the use of the bright red evoking the sight of dripping blood as if from a dying heart and part of it is rooted in the very Robert E. Howard/John Milius/Frank Frazetta sense of atmosphere ingrained in the art, with a little bit of Jean Moebius/Heavy Metal and even Star Trek & Star Wars style space opera thrown in for good measure to further the impending sense of doom that lingers over the image.
