Keyhole UniverseThis cross between trash fantasy and surreal farce is one of my few semi-original ideas. The Keyhole Universe is a far future shaped by an event called "The Cataclysm" that turns the world into a savage and weird place. People from present day and other centuries witness the new world of "Odnuvon" through their dreams and find their fates entwined. This folder contains all my art on the subject and my complete first draft. Second draft is forthcoming. Comments You know, I was just clicking around and looking through your Keyhole works. I am really amazed by all this. The story itself is extremely captivating and keeps me interested, and the artwork that goes with it; your vision is so unique and just from what I can see in your art...what I wouldn't do to just be able to look inside your mind when you're thinking this stuff up. Awesome job.

Hehe my mind usually comes up with these things when I'm bored and alone. The germ of the idea came at a bus stop and most of the stories were written on the bus ^u^ I guess I owe it all to public transportation. Hey, public anything can be the biggest source of inspiration. That's why writers have that "creepy person" stigma. We watch people. We're people-watchers...or at least, me and my other writing pals are, lol.
I am too, yes. I sit alone on the bus or in a restaurant and listen to the worst conversations ever spoken. Those fuel my drawing as much as anything.
I love going to the local Perkins at like 4 am and just sitting there. Have you ever seen a movie called "Caffeine"? If not, you should. This particular diner is like that movie, just spread over a week. Crazy people who talk to themselves, stoners, people who pass out, bad dates, police calls, all kinds of stuff.
I haven't seen the film, but I get the idea. I often endup at Denny's or some other such place in the middle of the night. Olympia is very "colorful" town.
