Glert & Jamie are coming to your town! You may remember that back in Spring I posted my cartoon BETAMAX, and BETAMAX part 2 and BETAMAX part 3 well that was only part one of this cartoon epic thingy! About 90 minutes of the complete film are done and I hope to have another 30 done really soon The big reason that I haven't had any new art up in a while is the fact that I've been grinding out animation frames for BETAMAX, parts of which will show up on YouTube soon
If this poster design looks familiar, modeled on a 1982 poster for Blade Runner The top image features Grant Stockbridge's "The Spider" as he appeared when played by Warren Hull in the first film serial in 1938, the villain of which, "The Octopus", appears in the yellow robe in the foreground. The face shot is Keye Luke in the role of Kato from both "The Green Hornet" film serials. Glert & Jamie are here as usual, Orson Welles and one of the Margo Lanes are below them, and in the last image "The Green Hornet" himself strikes a Sean Young pose
You may remember these earlier posters I made for this film:

Awesome stuff. I really like the old cinema style posting. This is one of those that, even if the movie were to suck I would want to go for the theatre experience. Maybe just the onetime there and watch it on an actual Betamax player from the 80s.
And after enough times of seeing it I'd probably put her on the shelf and buy the poster for my own wall in my work space, buy the soundtrack, and keep the movie on my shelf for years.
Again...Great featurette!
Now we just need to hear the story, and better yet, the soundtrack.
