Description
"Without question, this was the capsule that had put Douglas into orbit.
Without question, Douglas was gone without a trace! The helicopter
pilot who had discovered the capsule was dead, horribly mangled in a
way no had ever seen before..."
"Terror at Halfday" was the original title of Bill Rebane and Herschell Gordon Lewis's 1965 cinematic abomination Monster a Go-Go ( which you can read about HERE ), which baffled and delighted on the original MST3K This image is more based on ideas I had about that movie than the movie itself. You see, the absurd narrated ending and mention at the beginning about "satellites which no nation had launched" seems to imply another more horrifying sci-fi story playing in the background of the silly one we saw on the screen
I started this one on a whim two weeks ago and set it aside until I completed it today on my weekend while watching weird stuff like Witch's Curse a 1963 Italian sword&sandal "peplum" picture with a weird gothic horror plot included
I'm reading Balzac, that "Boys Will Be Boys" book, and will soon jump into other stuff
